Scheduling Specialist

What You’ll Do

• Create, manage, and adjust daily provider schedules for Medical and Behavioral Health teams in the scheduling system.
• Monitor scheduling metrics and proactively communicate scheduling capacity, supply‑demand variations, and coverage needs.
• Coordinate coverage for provider leave (PTO/CME), including scheduling locum providers and managing real‑time sick call adjustments.
• Maintain scheduling protocols, templates, and dashboards while ensuring accuracy in group visits, meeting blocks, and provider availability.
• Serve as the key liaison between scheduling and operations to ensure alignment with staffing resources, public health trends, and patient access goals.

What You’ll Bring

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple schedules while following guidelines, policies, and procedures.
• Experience with Microsoft Platform and ideally an EMR system.
• Current and in good standing: CDL, vehicle insurance, and DMV report.

Pay

Hourly Pay: $27.35‑$28.50

Schedule

The position will start in Auburn and move to Rocklin in Spring 2027.
