Scheduling Coordinator

We're recruiting for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Scheduling Coordinator to provide support to the sales and Production teams at our Tuff Shed Factory Store in Hutchins.

About the role

You will work directly with customers, vendors, subcontractors, and sales consultants to coordinate and schedule Tuff Shed installations. Responsibilities include predicting and resolving issues, preparing daily installation "packs" (verifying orders, requesting materials, creating purchase orders and waivers), and acting as the first contact with our "Big Box" partner. You will manage the database, respond to queries, assist sales teams, and meet customer needs—including recognizing special needs and recommending upsells. Experience in trades/industries or the ability to learn technical aspects of product design and functionality is essential. You will also assist the General Manager with front office needs as they arise.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule Tuff Shed installations with customers, vendors, subcontractors, and sales consultants
• Predict and resolve issues at all levels
• Prepare daily installation "packs" by verifying orders, requesting materials, and creating purchase orders and waivers
• Act as the first contact for our "Big Box" partner, managing the database and responding to queries
• Provide assistance to sales teams and meet customer needs, including recommending upsells
• Assist the General Manager with front office needs as they arise

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong math and communication skills
• Current valid driver's license and satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report
• Experience working in logistics, coordination, project management, or a similar capacity
• Proven experience in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
• Hands-on computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Experience with JD Edwards software (highly preferred)
• Ability to learn technical aspects of product design and functionality
• Willingness to take on a role with a steep learning curve, including discussing product details with partners and customers
