Scheduling Coordinator
About the role
We're looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Scheduling Coordinator to support the sales and production teams at our Tuff Shed Factory Store. Key responsibilities include:
Responsibilities
- Contact customers upon order receipt and initiate scheduling process.
- Resolve customer complaints and manage warranty issues.
- Provide assistance to customers, suggesting enhancements to their orders.
- Collaborate with customers to ensure understanding of completed forms.
- Coordinate appointments with customers and work directly with customers, store management, and certified installers to schedule installations.
- Maintain efficiency and cost-effectiveness for both Tuff Shed and certified installers.
- Document preparation and reporting, including preparing store checks for vendor expenses and weekly payments.
- Prepare installer dispatches for sub-contractors, verify orders, assign product serial numbers, create purchase orders, and assign rates.
- Reconcile Home Depot purchase orders with Tuff Shed sales orders to ensure accuracy and manage A/R for both retail and Home Depot channels.
- Maintain Home Depot purchase orders, reconcile, update, and close them to ensure accurate payment.
- Manage database maintenance and serve as a liaison with Home Depot, addressing queries from sales team members and customers.
- Use CRM software like JDEdwards, Salesforce, or similar systems.
Requirements
Successful prior experience in logistics, coordination, project management, or a similar capacity is preferred. Hands-on computer skills in Microsoft Office and internet applications are required, with experience in CRM software highly preferred. Must have a current valid driver's license and a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Skills
- Problem-solving using sound logic and good business judgment.
- Arithmetic, mathematical, accounting, and financial tools relevant to Tuff Shed business.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment, meeting tight deadlines on multiple projects.
- Knowledge of Tuff Shed’s product offerings and accessories.
- Ability to read, write, and understand instructions given orally, in writing, and/or in diagram form.
- Effective communication skills, including preparing written correspondence and reports that create a professional image for Tuff Shed.
- Ability to take on a role with a steep learning curve, knowing the details about Tuff Shed products and discussing offers and options with partners and customers.
