Job Duties
- Develops and coordinates staffing schedules for all Skilled Nursing staff and licensed caregivers.
- Communicates staffing needs to Healthcare Administrator and Director of Nursing and any overtime or agency use associated with shortages.
- Contact staff to replace personnel who have called in sick or are absent.
- Aid in facilitating new hire orientation across all departments in healthcare.
- Review and explain policies and procedures to new hires.
- Ensure completion of new hire paperwork.
- Aids in Etime and missed punch slips.
- Uphold patient privacy and safety at all times.
- Receive all requested scheduling changes and coordinate the staffing with the caregiver who is the best match for the resident.
About You
- Central Supply experience is preferred.
- Excellent phone and customer service skills.
- Proficient in MS Office including Excel.
- Great communication skills on both the phone and in writing.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing healthcare environment.
- Outgoing and professional personality.
- Ability to work with tight deadlines while having a sense of urgency.
- CNA License and/or experience is preferred.
- Experience working in a senior living facility or long-term care as a CNA or Scheduling/Staffing Coordinator.
