About the role

The Staffing Coordinator supports the Concessions and Human Resources team by scheduling team members for each event, ensuring proper staffing levels, and assisting with event execution.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure proper staffing levels and concessions locations are set and ready for business prior to event doors opening; adjust staffing during events as needed.
  • Assist with staff check-in before events.
  • Support event planning and execution.
  • Correct pay changes due to incorrect clock-in for events.
  • Organize group needs weekly, including touch-base meetings regarding upcoming events and registration activity.
  • Responsible for setup, collection, and auditing of all event paperwork.
  • Participate in general office duties: meetings, cleaning, filing, and other administrative tasks.
  • Promote a cooperative work climate to maximize productivity and morale.
  • Conduct regular scheduled meetings to ensure open communication between management and team members.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and relationship with team members, non-profit organizations, clients, and business partners.
  • Complete all projects in a timely manner.
  • Use performance management tools to provide guidance and feedback to the team.
  • Create a legendary experience for guests, team members, and clients.
  • Welcome and train new non-profit organizations in partnership with the recruiting coordinator.
  • Stand for long periods and actively engage with staff.
  • Perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.
  • React with physical and mental alertness in emergency situations.
  • Demonstrate physical stamina and agility required for mobility throughout long shifts.
  • Lift and move materials and equipment up to 50 pounds.
  • Move easily and quickly between sitting and standing positions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in foodservice or hospitality.
  • 1+ years of Microsoft Office experience.
  • Outgoing personality and ability to interact professionally with high-profile guests.
  • Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to problem-solve and make decisions with minimal guidance.

Pay

$21.00 to $25.00 per hour.
