About the role
The Patient Scheduling Coordinator plays a key role in creating a smooth, positive experience for every patient who contacts our clinic. This position is primarily focused on answering phones, scheduling appointments, and supporting patients with exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Answer incoming calls and provide outstanding customer service
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments electronically
- Update and maintain accurate patient information
- Perform basic data entry and administrative tasks
- Support patients with questions about scheduling, paperwork, and clinic processes
- Afford assistance with faxing, filing, and other office duties as needed
Qualifications
- A high school graduate or equivalent
- One or more years of previous medical front office experience
- Excellent telephone skills
- Proficient in Word and Excel
- Previous experience with medical software preferred
- Availability and flexibility with hours
- Close attention to detail
- Time management and organizational skills
- Team player attitude and energetic with a focus on excellent customer service
Pay
$20.00-$23.00/hr
Schedule
This role is a hybrid position. Initial training is conducted in-person and may span several months. Upon successful completion of training, employees have the opportunity to work remotely, provided they maintain an appropriate home office setup.
