About the role
This is a key role within our organization, responsible for coordinating schedules for pediatric nurses and ensuring our clients receive uninterrupted, high-quality care.
Responsibilities
- Cook up daily schedules for RNs and LPNs providing one-on-one pediatric home care
- Ensure all client shifts are staffed promptly and efficiently
- Manage call-outs, schedule changes, and urgent staffing needs
- Match nurses to cases based on availability, qualifications, and client requirements
- Maintain accurate scheduling records using workforce management software
- Serve as the primary point of contact for scheduling-related communication
- Resolve scheduling conflicts quickly while maintaining excellent customer service
- Communicate effectively with nurses, families, and internal clinical teams
- Collaborate with leadership to ensure exceptional continuity of patient care
Qualifications
- A High School Diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
- 1–2 years of scheduling, staffing coordination, or workforce management experience
- Healthcare, home care, pediatric, or medical office experience strongly preferred
- Experience using scheduling or workforce management software
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, and Word
- Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
