Role & Responsibilities

  • Participate in all phases of the construction planning & scheduling process, including the development of schedules and ongoing schedule updates.
  • Conduct forensic analysis of project schedules, contemporaneous documentation, and construction costs.
  • Perform inspections of construction project sites, evaluating project progress.
  • Review and organize large amounts of construction project documents and data.
  • Perform schedule delay analysis to establish the cause and extent of delays and to resolve construction delay claims.
  • Evaluate construction productivity and progress data, extended general conditions, and expediting expenses.
  • Assess the impact of project changes and schedule delays, effectively communicating findings.
  • Operates on behalf of clients to monitor and manage timelines, expenses, and other factors critical to operational efficiency and cost management during all phases of construction.
  • Review and synthesize relevant information to prepare technical project reports.
  • Maintain job files, documentation, and other relevant deliverables.
  • Interface with other department employees, contractors, and clients on a regular basis.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required, in construction management, engineering or equivalent field, preferred
  • 1-4 years in a construction scheduling experience
  • Holds a PSP (Planning & Scheduling Professional) certification, preferred
  • Experience using critical path method (CPM) techniques to analyze construction project schedules
  • Experience with Microsoft Project, Oracle Primavera 6, and ASTA Powerproject
  • Previous experience or exposure to builder’s risk insurance policies, construction claims management, and managing contractors
  • Experience working on data centers / semiconductors, preferred
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team towards a common purpose
  • Strong communications skills, with the ability to interface with various stakeholders and clients
