Wednesday: 8:00 AM - 12:30 PM

Friday: 8:00 AM - 12:30 PM

Pay Range

$16.00 - $19.00 per hour

Job Description

  • Scheduling Support
    • Assisting in creating, updating, and maintaining daily and weekly clinical staff schedules
    • Inputting schedule changes, call-offs, and shift swaps into scheduling systems in real time
    • Ensuring schedules are accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with staffing guidelines
  • Call-Off & Coverage Coordination
    • Receiving and documenting team member call-offs in accordance with policy
    • Assisting with securing replacement staff, including contacting internal staff and agency personnel as directed
    • Maintaining call logs and ensuring timely communication with unit leadership
  • Communication
    • Serving as a point of contact for staff scheduling inquiries
    • Communicating schedule updates and changes to staff and leadership in a timely and professional manner
    • Collaborating with nursing leadership and department heads to support staffing needs
  • Data Entry & Reporting
    • Maintaining accurate scheduling records and documentation
    • Assisting in preparing staffing reports, including hours worked, overtime, and agency utilization
    • Monitoring and reporting trends related to absenteeism and staffing gaps
  • Compliance & Accuracy
    • Ensuring scheduling practices align with organizational policies, labor guidelines, and regulatory requirements
    • Supporting efforts to maintain appropriate staffing levels based on census and acuity

Qualifications, Education And Experience

  • High school diploma required; Associate degree or relevant certification preferred
  • Prior office management and scheduling experience is required
  • Minimum of three (1) year of experience in a long-term care or healthcare setting is strongly preferred
