Scheduler - Private Duty Care

About the role

At Freedom Village of Bradenton, you'll help older adults live independently and confidently while building meaningful relationships and making a difference every day. As a Care Scheduler, you're the connection between residents who need support and the caregivers who provide it. Part problem-solver, part people-person, and part organizer, you'll keep care running smoothly while creating peace of mind for residents, families, and your team. If you love solving puzzles, juggling priorities, and helping people, this could be the perfect role for you.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate caregiver schedules to ensure quality, reliable care
• Match residents with the caregivers who best meet their needs
• Support residents, families, and caregivers with exceptional customer service
• Problem-solve schedule changes and staffing challenges
• Assist with administrative tasks, communication, and documentation
• Help grow the program through relationship-building and service excellence
• Support occasional transportation or direct service needs as required

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Scheduling, staffing, or administrative experience preferred
• Experience in home care, healthcare, senior living, hospitality, or a related field is a plus
• Strong computer and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and time management abilities
• Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings, weekends, or on-call responsibilities
• Must meet all employment requirements

Pay & Schedule

• Salary: $23 - $25 per hour
• Schedule: 9:00am - 5:00pm (business hours, occasional evenings and/or weekends)
