Scheduler - Primary Care Clinic

About the role

This position will schedule acute patient office visits for Primary Care patients. Performs a variety of functions in the medical office including general duties such as answering the telephone, communicating messages through email or Epic, greeting, registering and scheduling appointments, collecting patient copayments, making appointment reminder calls, verifying insurance and other patient data is accurate, and scanning and/or uploading patient information to patients' electronic chart. Able to provide backup for other positions and functions in the medical office including medical records, scheduling, insurance verification, patient referrals, etc., and the ability to float between multiple locations as assigned. Will work to ensure patient confidentiality in all instances while maintaining a pleasant and professional appearance and conduct.

Schedule

• Monday – Friday, 8am – 4:30pm
• No nights, no weekends

Requirements

• Strong customer service and computer skills required
• Previous scheduling experience preferred
• Applicable experience: Less than 1 year
