Scheduler, Norton Children's Medical Group- Nephrology, 8a-4:30p

Responsibilities

• Schedules patients for outpatient diagnostic testing and/or surgical procedures for Norton Medical Group patients.
• Instructs doctor’s office and/or patients regarding pre-procedure clinical preparations, as required.
• Obtains basic demographic and insurance coverage information.
• Obtains and processes orders through the EPIC electronic health record or other methods as necessary.
• Reviews orders to ensure all information is complete and meets the criteria.

Qualifications

• No experience required; comprehensive on-the-job training provided.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Desired Skills

• One year of scheduling tests/procedures or patient registration experience in a healthcare setting.
