Responsibilities

• Accountable for the care of a group of patients, focusing on safe, effective, patient- and family-centered care, customer satisfaction, and quality outcomes.
• Assist in maintaining a financially stable unit while promoting personal development with an emphasis on evidence-based practice and education supported by a Practice Governance framework.
• Supervise licensed and non-licensed staff members.
• Apply the Kristin M. Swanson Model of Care to assess, develop, implement, and evaluate the plan of care.
• Focus on patient and family comforts, education, and satisfaction.
• Apply educational and professional experiences in delivering quality care and mentoring/precepting staff.
• Complete the RN Credentialing & Privileging Process as outlined in the RN Credentialing & Privileging Process Policy & Procedure (effective January 2011).

Qualifications

• Required: Diploma Registered Nurse
• Desired: One year of registered nurse experience
• Desired: Bachelor’s Degree
