Job Responsibilities and Requirements
- Captures data from patients and refers them to provider offices for scheduled appointments.
- Affirms and creates appointments for patient services as needed.
- Secures approvals for schedule modifications or cancellations.
- Maintains and updates provider contact details.
- Enters medical appointment information and special instructions into the electronic medical system.
- Fulfills site-specific protocols and keeps records updated for compliance.
- Performs additional tasks as directed.
- Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing up to 25 lbs.
- Frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching, and repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements.
- Frequent use of vision and depth perception for near and far distances, and to identify and distinguish colors.
- Frequent use of hearing and speech for oral communication.
- Frequent keyboard use and data entry.
- Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, twisting, and gripping.
- Rarely climbs.

Education and Experience
Prior experience with call centers, office work, healthcare, clerical, or similar roles is preferred. No formal education or experience is required.
