Scheduler - Home Care

About the role

Baywood Home Care is seeking a Lead Scheduler to join our scheduling & admin team. This role involves coordinating caregiver schedules, communicating with caregivers, and maintaining accurate availability records.

Responsibilities

• Cook up caregiver schedules to ensure consistent and appropriate staffing for all client shifts
• Reach out to caregivers to fill open shifts, handle schedule changes, and keep availability records up-to-date
• Keep an eye on daily schedules, quickly addressing call-offs, late arrivals, and coverage gaps with timely replacements
• Be the go-to person for scheduling inquiries, offering prompt and professional communication to both clients and caregivers
• Keep detailed records and stay compliant, providing on-call support and flexible availability to handle after-hours staffing needs and urgent coverage gaps

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older
• A minimum of one year of home care scheduling experience required
• Must have an associate's or bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, or a related field (preferred)
• Previous experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is preferred
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance required

Pay

$57,515 - $60,000/year

Schedule

Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm with on-call rotation required
