Scheduler
Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and manage CPM schedules in Primavera P6 across design and construction phases.
- Create, update, and analyze execution schedules for concurrent projects.
- Develop work breakdown structures (WBS), work packages, and work package activities.
- Establish baseline schedules through review of contract requirements, durations, logic, resources, and cost/resource profiles.
- Review schedule updates, generate comparison reports, and analyze variances.
- Assess schedule issues, scope changes, and delays; provide recommendations for project and executive leadership.
- Partner with project teams to identify risks and develop reliable forecasts through completion.
- Perform time impact analyses to quantify delay effects.
- Support recovery planning and conduct schedule recovery reviews.
- Conduct what-if analyses to evaluate schedule alternatives.
Minimum Qualifications
- 7-10 years of experience in developing and managing CPM project schedules in Primavera.
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering, project management, or a related field.
- Proficiency with Primavera P6.
- Advanced knowledge of CPM scheduling principles.
- Advanced knowledge of cost and resource loading project schedules.
- Experience with contract change order management.
- Experience performing Time Impact Analyses.
- Project financial forecasting capability.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with large and complex client programs involving one or more project teams.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including executive-ready reporting.
- Building construction or project management experience.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
