Role and Responsibilities

• Forecasts production orders from work authorization.
• Revises all short lead time orders for raw materials available.
• Reviews all MRP to produce requisitions.
• Interacts with purchasing to ensure all components are ordered in a timely manner.
• Interacts and coordinates with Customers concerning future customer orders.
• Captures and distributes documentation or material to workers.
• Schedules orders, including resolving purchase order discrepancies and communicating changes.
• Implements changes to sales orders.
• Reviews engineering change notices (ECNs) on orders in process and notifies customers.
• Communicates with the customer during the placement and acceptance of the order.
• Maintains files of documents used and prepared.
• Charts production for reference to be used by production and management personnel.

• Strong math skills.
• Inventory management skills.
• Average proficiency in office systems software – word processing, spreadsheets, database.
• Strong problem-solving skills including ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Ability to work independently or within a group setting.
