Scheduler

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate records of staff availability, assignments, and scheduling updates to support daily workforce planning.
• Cook up employee placement by reviewing qualifications and aligning skill sets with client coverage needs.
• Use scheduling tools and office systems to build, revise, and distribute work schedules efficiently.
• Communicate with clients, employees, and internal team members to resolve coverage gaps, shift adjustments, and scheduling conflicts.
• Provide phone support by handling inbound overflow calls and directing urgent requests appropriately.
• Monitor schedule changes throughout the day to help ensure consistent service coverage and timely staffing responses.

Requirements

• Prior experience in scheduling, whether in a staffing, agency, healthcare, or urgent services environment (HVAC, Plumbing, etc).
• Ability to manage inbound and outbound calls professionally while handling multiple tasks at once.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Familiarity with scheduling software is preferred.
• Familiarity with ClearCare or WellSky software is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to keep records accurate and current.
• Clear communications skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and work in team environment.
• Comfortable using basic office equipment and general administrative tools.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have some "on call" availability for nights and weekends. In office hours would fall between Monday - Friday, 8:30AM - 4:30PM.

Skills

• Microsoft Office applications.
• Familiarity with scheduling software.
• Familiarity with ClearCare or WellSky software.
