About the Role
Ensures that work is properly scheduled to meet the needs of our customers and deliver products efficiently. This role serves as the primary point of contact for ERP system elements related to the demand/supply profile for manufactured products, driving systemic improvements and mentoring manufacturing personnel on MRP issues.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point person for ERP system elements (Microsoft Dynamics AX/Infor) pertaining to demand/supply planning for manufactured products.
- Collaborate with Operational departments and IT to drive systemic improvements in MRP processes.
- Mentor and train manufacturing personnel on MRP-related issues.
- Participate in evolving the MRP system to better support Lean manufacturing.
- Firm and release production orders for production.
- Problem-solve MRP issues and provide quick responses to production challenges.
- Create and maintain schedules using Microsoft Project.
- Identify process improvements and help resolve production issues.
- Generate reports and schedules to ensure company deadlines are met.
- Manage material updates, customer changes, and non-conformance in schedules.
- Attend meetings to review existing or new projects.
- Perform other job duties as required.
Requirements
- High School Diploma preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Project, Outlook, Excel, Teams).
- Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics AX and Infor ERP systems.
- Experience with MRP (Material Requirements Planning) required.
- Ability to read blueprints and understand Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Typing speed of at least 25 WPM.

- Knowledge of scheduling, inventory control, and planning methods.
- General understanding of fabrication, machining, inventory, and control processes.
