Schedule and Dispatch
- Schedule and dispatch field technicians for installations, repairs, and maintenance of internet and telecommunications services.
- Monitor daily job progress and adjust schedules in real time to accommodate delays, emergencies, or priority requests.
- Collaborate with network operations, customer support, and technical teams to ensure timely service delivery.
Coordination and Communication
- Coordinate with customers to confirm appointments, provide updates, and resolve scheduling conflicts.
- Maintain accurate scheduling records and update internal systems with job status, notes, and completion details.
Analysis and Improvement
- Analyze scheduling metrics and recommend improvements to increase efficiency and reduce downtime.
Compliance and Problem Solving
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and service level agreements (SLAs).
- Problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve scheduling conflicts effectively.
Skills and Abilities
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for coordinating with customers and internal teams.
- Ability to think critically and make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in scheduling, dispatch, or workforce management systems.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
Education and Experience
- A high school diploma or equivalent required; an associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in scheduling, dispatching, or operations coordination.
- Experience in telecommunications, ISP, or field service environments preferred.
- Familiarity with CRM systems, scheduling software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 15 pounds at times.
