Responsibilities

• Secure and confirm appointments that are marketable to the team.
• Provide exceptional customer service to all shippers/receivers to maintain a positive company perception.
• Ensure all load information is accurate and correctly input into the system.
• Decrease loads with unconfirmed times by connecting with appropriate parties to promote coverage and service.
• Ensure all loads meet service requirements as defined by shippers/receivers.
• Coordinate loads with marketable times using knowledge of standard transit processes/protocols.
• Create and develop personal and professional relationships with shippers/receivers.
• Proactively communicate with operations and accounts on lane efficiencies that may affect coverage and/or service.
• Ensure correct and timely communication when transmitting information to others.
• Proactively assist others in achieving the organization’s objectives.

Requirements

• Previous customer service experience required.
• Previous experience in the transportation industry preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be detail-oriented.
• Must be proficient with MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.).
• Must possess outstanding telephone skills.
• Must be able to set priorities and manage time effectively.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced team environment.
• Must be able to adapt to changing priorities.

Pay

$18.82 - $22.00 hourly

Schedule

Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM
