Brief Description
We are seeking a Scheduler to coordinate and maintain staffing schedules ensuring exceptional care and support for our residents. Here, our focus is on the person—residents, staff, and personal well-being.
What you will be doing
- Create monthly nursing staff schedules
- Manage real-time staffing adjustments
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all scheduling-related questions and concerns
- Maintain employee schedules in Kronos
- Document time-off requests and call-offs
- Communicate schedule changes clearly and efficiently
- Provide administrative support
- Respond to phone calls and emails
- Work collaboratively with department leaders to ensure appropriate staffing coverage and continuity of care
Qualifications
- High school diploma
- At least 1–2 years of administrative experience, preferably in a healthcare or long-term care setting
- Previous scheduling experience is strongly preferred
Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- The ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities
- CNA certification, preferred
About You
- 1-2 years of administrative experience in an office environment, preferably in healthcare
- Prior experience scheduling for skilled nursing or long-term care is a plus
- Certified Nursing Assistant Certification, preferred
