Scheduler
Fairfax Radiology Centers — the largest radiology practice in the Washington, DC metropolitan area — is looking for a compassionate, detail-oriented Medical Scheduler to serve as the first point of contact in a patient’s imaging journey. In this role, you’ll do more than schedule appointments — you’ll help patients feel informed, reassured, and supported from their very first interaction.
About the Role
This position transitions to fully remote after training. During scheduled work hours (Monday – Friday 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM), employees must maintain a distraction-free environment and remain consistently available on the phone system.

Responsibilities
- Schedule a variety of radiologic exams accurately for patients and referring providers
- Deliver exceptional customer service with professionalism, empathy, and clarity
- Navigate a Windows-based, color-coded scheduling system to manage appointments
- Answer patient questions and guide them through next steps in their care
Requirements
- Strong phone presence and excellent verbal communication skills
- A customer-first mindset with a genuine desire to help others
- Call center experience preferred
- Healthcare or health insurance call center experience strongly preferred
- Ability to communicate in Spanish is a plus
- Comfort working across multiple systems with solid computer skills

Pay
Based on your qualifications and experience, the compensation range for this position is $19.55 - $26.45 per hour. Placement within the range is determined by factors including experience, education, certifications, and internal equity.
