Scheduler

About the role

Citizens Health is recruiting a Scheduler to work full-time at CMC, our acute care facility.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate communications between patients and medical staff
• Schedule appointments for cardiopulmonary, surgery, and other various departments throughout Citizens Medical Center
• Mail required paperwork to patients prior to appointment
• Answer telephones, screen, take messages, and provide necessary information
• Strict adherence to HIPAA, PHI, and confidentiality
• Complete other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED
• Prior medical terminology and 2 years related clerical experience in health care setting preferred
• Customer and personal service skills including meeting needs, assessing and resolving issues, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluating satisfaction
• Ability to maintain good working relationships with all personnel
• Ability to communicate clearly
