About the role
We are seeking a Scheduler in Atlanta, GA to join our team. This role focuses on developing and maintaining construction schedules, collaborating with project teams, and ensuring projects stay on track.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Preconstruction group and project teams to develop schedules through each design phase.
- Assist project teams with documenting schedule delays.
- Visit or meet with jobsites weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly to review schedule updates with the project team.
- Develop detailed construction schedules in partnership with project teams, understanding that the project team maintains ultimate control of the schedule.
- Run Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project (MP) schedule reports and analyze data.
- Train new P6 and MP users (beginning to advanced training).
- Perform project schedule quality control, including baseline comparison, logic, durations, and changes.
- Recognize and analyze risks affecting costs, profit, schedule, and safety.
- Develop schedule training modules and train employees on scheduling.
- Communicate verbally and in writing with customers, suppliers, and employees to ensure needs are met and conflicts are resolved.
- Reinforce the Company’s vision, mission, and values.
- Experience with all phases of a project’s lifecycle (proposal, preconstruction, estimating, permitting, procurement, construction, closeout, as-built schedules, etc.).
Requirements
- Strong background in construction experience/knowledge (on-the-jobsite experience preferred).
- Knowledge of all major types of construction market sectors (Multifamily, high-rise, healthcare, higher education, K-12, senior living, office buildings, etc.).
- Extensive experience with Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project (MP), including troubleshooting user issues.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to develop strong working relationships with project teams (integrity, honesty, and trust) and tailor approach to meet individual needs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from a College or University and 3-7 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
