Job Description Supporting Whiting-Turner Schedule Manager with group and project specific responsibilitiesDevelopment of pursuit and proposal schedulesDevelopment of master project schedulesDevelopment of detailed construction schedulesData entry of activities, durations, and sequences (predecessors / successors) into PrimaveraSchedule development is done in Oracle Primavera scheduling software (training provided by Whiting-Turner)The potential candidate will also be expected to become familiar with other schedule software platformsSchedule management and controlsSchedule updating process – collecting progress and incorporating into scheduling softwareReporting – Preparing schedule update reports and graphics per Contract requirementsSchedule analysisDeveloping and analyzing the impact issues have on the project scheduleCollecting scheduling metrics and creating spreadsheets / data bases to interpret and visualize the dataTechnical Review – Reviewing the project schedule’s quality and performance (health)Data mining – Mining data from as-built schedule for historical metricsEstimating – Performing square footage and quantity take-offs, as neededCost loading of schedule activities and maintaining the cost information through the updating processManagement of Whiting-Turner’s schedule database and Primavera softwareIf the potential candidate is assigned to a project site, they will have the following responsibilities in addition to those listed aboveAttending project meetings – WT, Owner, SubcontractorWalking the project site to independently confirm the project team's assessment of progress and completion of schedule activitiesCollecting information from lean scheduling meetings and using the information to update the CPM
