About the role
Seeking a Systems Analyst to support enterprise endpoint management and software deployment initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Manage software distribution including Microsoft security upgrades and standard desktop software on a global basis.
- Prioritize and coordinate security patch and software testing schedules and distributions.
- Create packages, collections, and advertisements for software distributions.
- Create custom reports and dashboards for planning corporate hardware and software requirements.
- Work with corporate security to identify and remediate workstation risks.
- Provide Level 3 support for the SCCM infrastructure and standard desktop software.
- Meet with internal clients to assess business needs, identify key challenges, and define project scope and deliverables for software application deployments.
- Investigate and resolve Configuration Manager client issues on endpoint devices.
- Troubleshoot and correct SCCM client and distribution point errors.
- Troubleshoot failed SCCM deployments and SCCM health issues.
- Administer the SCCM backend environment to maintain system health, including core component configuration, software delivery, client health, reporting, boundaries, and bandwidth settings.
- Manage and administer SCCM client health, including remediation of unhealthy clients.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience with SCCM, Microsoft Intune, and WSUS.
- 3–5 years of experience with operating system concepts including Active Directory, security, and operating system internals.
- 3–5 years of experience with networking concepts including DNS, networking protocols, and network devices.
- 3–5 years of experience demonstrating strong communication, problem-solving, technical writing, customer service, and technical support skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience with ITIL Change Management.
- 3–5 years of extensive knowledge and/or experience with enterprise software package deployment, security patch deployment methodologies, and standard change control processes within large organizations.
