Scanning Technician

TEKsystems is searching for individuals to join their team for a project supporting a digitization project in the Shreveport area. Candidates will be responsible for traveling between multiple office locations within their assigned region to support the digitization of sensitive documents. Viewing sensitive content is a daily part of this position. Travel will be based on the location of physical files requiring scanning, and candidates will follow the workload accordingly. Reliable transportation is required, as frequent travel between sites is an essential part of this role.

Responsibilities

• Support the digitization of sensitive documents.
• Work on a large-scale scanning and documentation project.
• Practice in quality assurance and control.

• Knowledge of transferring hard copy data into a digitized format is a plus.

Requirements

• Must be local to the region.
• Travel costs: mileage reimbursement provided for travel exceeding 50 miles or 1 hour from home base ($0.70/mile) one way OR for travel exceeding 100 miles or 2 hours from home base.

• Experience working on a large-scale scanning and documentation project.
