Scan Lab Instructor, Diagnostic Medical Imagining Program
Job Summary
The Diagnostic Medical Imaging Program in the School of Health Professions at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University is seeking an hourly/part-time Adjunct Instructor / Scan Lab Instructor. The successful candidate will:
- Instruct students and provide feedback on ultrasound scanning techniques.
- Ensure students maintain scan lab and equipment and practice proper infection control prevention.
- Comply with AIUM and CAAHEP standards and guidelines.
- Administer and score OSCE's on campus.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree.
- 2+ years of sonography experience.
- Active RDMS and/or RDCS certification.
- Clinical experience.
- Ability to effectively and respectfully communicate orally with student and faculty.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's Degree.

Variable Days; Variable Hours (Hourly/Part-Time)

Salary Grade/Rank Salary Range: Executive Order Commensurate with experience and qualifications
