Scan Coordinator/DSD Receiver

About the role

This position combines the responsibilities of Scan Coordinator and Receiver, ensuring price accuracy, product information integrity, and efficient receipt of delivered goods within a retail store.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent, efficient, and pleasant customer experiences.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness, and attractiveness of workstations.
• Verify prices, barcodes, and signage; update price changes and resolve discrepancies.
• Check pricing by sorting and verifying shelf tags/signs before hanging them.
• Ensure signs and tags are displayed on all displays, ends, and shelves.
• Check emails daily and communicate with DSD vendors about promotions and ads.
• Unload and inspect delivered goods to confirm all ordered products are received.
• Check in all Direct Store Delivery (DSD) by verifying item accuracy on receiving counts and dollar amounts in the SMS system.
• Manage computerized records and assist with customer service, including performing cashier duties.
• Assist the Scan Coordinator with tags and signs after receiving hours.
• Check vendor sections, backstock, and sales floor for accuracy and organization.
• Perform other related duties as required.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
• Must be able to traverse and access all areas of the supermarket.
