Aid in maintaining day-to-day operations and administrative duties associated with scale operation and serve as the initial point of contact for customers, drivers, vendors, and visitors. Essential qualities include a positive attitude, administrative skills, and the ability to build strong relationships.
- Comply with industry safety rules and regulations.
- Generate accurate computer-printed scale tickets for trucks.
- Assist customers with purchasing decisions.
- Answer customer questions and phone calls.
- Support loaders and haulers as needed.
- Maintain cash, COD records, and daily reports.
- Ensure correct weights and products are removed from the pit.
- Provide aggregate dispatch and customer service.
- Participate in quality control duties under the direction of the Quarry Manager.
