Scale Operator - Seasonal

About the role

This role involves operating grain elevator equipment, weighing and grading inbound and outbound grains, and issuing scale tickets.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and engage with team members
• Perform administrative tasks such as running reports, balancing statements, and equipment cross-checks
• Adhere to all safety policies to maintain a safe, clean work environment
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements

• Eligibility to work in the US without visa sponsorship
• Aged 18 or older
• Proficiency in English and basic computer skills
• Ability to work in indoor and outdoor conditions with PPE
• Capability to work at heights (4 feet or above) and perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, climbing, and crawling
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and holidays with prior notice

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience troubleshooting mechanical systems
• Background in production-related work

Pay

Starting pay of $18.50/hr with a $2,000 sign-on bonus.
