Scale Operator/Sales Associate

Essential Functions

• Weigh incoming and outgoing materials, including scrap metal, vehicles, and parts
• Provide accurate pricing to customers based on weight and type of material
• Maintain accurate inventory records and work with the yard team to ensure inventory levels are accurate
• Foster positive relationships with customers and vendors to encourage repeat business and maintain a positive reputation in the industry
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations regarding salvage yard operations
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment, including enforcing safety protocols and ensuring that all employees are adhering to environmental regulations
• Perform other duties as assigned by management
