What You'll Do
- Oversee the operations of the truck scales; daily use as well as certifications, maintenance, and repairs, this includes the radiation detectors and cameras.
- Manage Industrial Truck Scale inbound and outbound operations to meet demands of the facility
- Diagnose problems with the scales and assist in their repair
- Maintain a clean and safe work area, inside the scale house and around the scales
- Monitor and arrange calibration of scales
- Maintains Radiation Detection equipment
- Perform radiation detection system checks according to environmental department requirements
- Troubleshoot work-related problems using job knowledge, experience, and communication with others
- Effectively communicate with others about possible production issues, concerns, and needs
- Work safely to prevent on the job injuries by always following safety rules and regulations including proper wearing of company PPE
- Participate in the CMC Safety Programs and proactively uphold the CMC Safety Culture
What You'll Need
- Ability to work as a team player in a fast-paced environment, with excellent strong work ethic, attention to detail, and organizational skills
- Dependability in attendance, work completion, and flexibility to meet business needs
- Some overtime will be required
- Must be willing to work weekends and nights as required based on production needs
- Basic computer skills
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
Your Education
Your Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred
