Scaffold Builders

About the role

Non-exempt role reporting to the Supervisor; performs a variety of routine duties within established policies. Schedules vary and are subject to change; must be able to work 40–50 hours plus.

Responsibilities

• Assembles, positions, and dismantles scaffolding to job specifications
• Inspects surfaces for holes, objects, and levelness
• Assembles scaffold components including guardrails, mid-rails, braces, planks, toe boards, screens, and wheels
• Positions scaffold by rolling it into place
• Secures scaffold to permanent structure by tying

Requirements

• Four years of experience in specified skill (level dependent)
• Written pre-employment qualification test
• Post-offer drug/alcohol screen and physical evaluation
• Hazard Communication orientation/test
• Turner Industries Group, LLC indoctrination
• OSHA-approved corrective eyewear (Z87)
• Job site orientation and safety requirements as required by the client (clean shaven, long sleeves, steel-toe boots, etc.)
• Safety equipment as required by the client (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, respirator, hearing protection, safety harness with lanyard, etc.)
• Must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of self or others in the workplace
