About the role

Scaffold Builder Journeyman with experience in the Industrial Scaffolding industry (petrochemical, power plant, cement plant) or related field, with four or more years of experience as an Industrial Scaffold Builder.

Pay

Pay Rate: $39.00 - $41.00 (based on certification)

Per Diem (if eligible): $175.00 per day worked

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work procedures.
• Select type and size of related materials according to the job specifications.
• Plan sequence of installation to avoid obstructions and activities of other construction workers.
• Select specified type of scaffolding or other materials.
• Erect scaffolding and ladders for assembling structures above ground level.
• Get all tools and materials used by your crew to the proper place at the beginning and end of your shift.

Requirements

• Must have a competent working knowledge of Scaffolding designs, materials, functions, erection techniques, limitations, and applications.
• Competent knowledge and experience working on projects utilizing Industrial Scaffolding.
• A basic understanding and knowledge of the functional operation and purpose of the tools (both hand tools and power tools) of an Industrial Scaffold Erector.
• Pre-employment Drug and Alcohol test.
• Must have a minimum of 48+ verifiable work experience within craft.
• OSHA 10, OSHA 30, OR Safety Essentials certification.
