Responsibilities
- Work at heights with no fear.
- Determine type of scaffold needed and instruct on proper installation.
- Oversee transport of tubular scaffold or other structural material and erect the scaffold as instructed.
- Hoist scaffolding materials upward to erect temporary structures.
- Properly secure and level locking sections of scaffolding material.
- Secure scaffold to permanent structures for added stability.
- Adhere to all OSHA, site-specific, and Austin Industrial requirements for erecting and navigating scaffolding.
- Supervise the dismantling of scaffolding when properly communicated.
- Inspect and properly stow scaffolding material after dismantling.
- Perform final inspection of completed scaffolding.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Legally authorized to work for ANY employer in the United States (Austin Industrial is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa for this position).
- NCCER Scaffold certification.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- 4 years of Journeyman-level experience.

- Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) and meet all customer, site, regulatory, medical, and fitness-for-duty requirements.
- Perform all job duties while maintaining a constant commitment to safety, quality, and productivity expectations.
