Scaffold Builder

The Mundy Companies, a leader in industrial maintenance, services, and construction, is hiring for a long‑term Scaffold Builder position in the Victoria, Texas area. NCCER certification is preferred but not required; overtime may be required (4 × 10‑hour shifts).

Responsibilities

• Erect and break down scaffolds, including walkways, handrails, and ladders, using various power tools and lifts.
• Prepare and clean the job site, removing debris and hazardous materials before construction.
• Unload and load scaffolding materials (rails, planks, ladders, etc.) from trucks or storage areas.
• Inspect all scaffolding components prior to erection.
• Hoist and lower materials safely and efficiently during scaffold assembly and disassembly.
• Maintain a high degree of personal safety and environmental awareness at all times.

Requirements

• Minimum three (3) years of continuous, current experience as a Scaffold Builder in a petrochemical, industrial, or manufacturing environment.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions safely and efficiently.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
• Craft certification or the ability to pass a craft test.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check, pre‑employment drug screen, and any other required qualifications.
• NCCER certification is preferred but not required.
