About the role
The role of SCADA & Asset Management Supervisor involves overseeing the efficient operation and maintenance of critical infrastructure systems within a city. This includes managing the SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) systems that monitor and control various assets such as water treatment facilities, power grids, and transportation networks.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the SCADA system operations to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Manage and maintain the asset management systems to track and update the status of all city assets.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to identify and implement improvements in system efficiency and safety.
- Develop and implement training programs for staff on SCADA and asset management systems.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards related to SCADA and asset management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in SCADA systems and asset management.
- Proven ability to manage and lead a team.
- Strong understanding of SCADA systems, asset management software, and related technologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
