SCA Transportation Specialist with Security Clearance

Overview

Mano Lani LLC. has multiple openings for Transportation Specialists to join their team in the Washington DC metro area, specifically, Landover, MD. This position will support the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) providing enterprise logistics support.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Ability to assist with routing, dispatch coordination, delivery/pick-up scheduling, and tracking of shipments / moves.
• Basic understanding of loading / unloading practices and in-transit protection for furniture / property (pads, straps, securement).
• Ability to prepare, review, and maintain required transportation documentation (delivery receipts, transfer / turn-in forms, chain-of-custody / signature logs) in accordance with DIA procedures.
• Attention to detail for item counts, condition notes, and discrepancy reporting.
• Ability to follow site access, safety, and security procedures; report incidents, damage, or noncompliance immediately to supervisors.
• Ability to work in warehouse / loading dock environments and assist with material handling tasks consistent with safety requirements.

Requirements

• Personnel performing on this effort shall be U.S. citizens.
• Personnel are required to have a current clearance and be able to maintain it as well as be able to successfully clear a background investigation.
• High school diploma / GED with minimum 3 years of experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, shipping/receiving, or move/relocation logistics.
• Must possess Forklift and other Material Handling Equipment certifications and hold a Class A Commercial Driver's License.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) and willingness / ability to learn tasked logistics systems.

Physical Requirements

• Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time as well as repeated walking.
• Mobility, including but not limited to bending, kneeling, stooping, and reaching, is required to complete daily duties in a timely and efficient manner.
• There is a possibility that due to parking availability and location of work, walking moderate to long distance may be required.
• Must be able to lift 30 pounds unassisted.

Pay

USD $25.07 - USD $27.58 /Hr.
