SCA Engineering Technician III

Key Responsibilities

• Perform sanding, cleaning, scraping, masking, and patching of industrial parts.
• Apply military-grade primers, paints, and coatings using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment.
• Disassemble, inspect, test, and reassemble complex systems like missiles and munitions.
• Execute sustainment operations and system testing by following technical drawings and standard operating procedures.
• Clean and maintain all application equipment and comply with all OSHA and hazmat handling standards.
• Maintain detailed records of all work, including data entry for job tracking, inspection results, and process operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED with 2+ years of relevant experience OR an Associate's degree with 1+ year of relevant experience.
• Experience in industrial painting, military coatings, or as a technician in a manufacturing/shop environment is highly valued.
• Proficiency with coating systems (e.g., epoxy, polyurethane) and application techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Experience with standard assembly/disassembly techniques and tools.
• Basic computer skills are required (Microsoft Office Suite, email, timecard entry).

Clearance & Citizenship

• U.S. Citizenship is mandatory.
• Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance (Interim Clearance needed to start).
