Responsibilities
- Safely operates tools & equipment, follows all rules regarding Personal Protective Equipment; supports a safe workplace and takes action to improve factory safety
- Conducts start-of-shift inspections of mobile equipment and required PPE; reports unsafe conditions, property damage, near misses, or incidents immediately to supervisor
- Performs assigned warehouse functions according to standard and/or SOP; meets unit quality and productivity metrics
- Follows written or oral instructions to ascertain materials to be moved; loads and unloads deliveries, ensuring each incoming delivery matches the purchase order and Advanced Shipping Notification
- Sustains continuous material movement to different work areas (receiving inspection, supermarket & bulk staging); operates cyclic replenishment systems like milk run trains
- Interacts with external vendor on proper management of materials in JIT & VMI areas; conveys materials from storage to designated workstations via stocking, replenishment, and commissioning
- Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, carts & shelves by hand without damaging parts; locates materials and supplies by pulling and verifying against production orders
- Maintains in-process inventory by delivering and opening materials and supplies; receives credit-return material by verifying code, lot number, and quantity; prepares finished stock for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, crating, loading, and securing product
- Puts up incoming product and pulls parts from warehouse; works closely with inventory group to monitor supply levels and submits purchasing recommendations regularly
- Collaborates with inventory control and purchasing to determine when product is missing in a delivery
- Maintains material-handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections and making operator repairs; operates standard industrial lift truck, tuggers, electrical and manual pallet jacks, battery chargers, and other material handling equipment
- Processes interactions with SAP (narrow scope) to order materials from main warehouse; documents materials and supplies disposition and shipment; completes paperwork thoroughly and promptly
- Communicates clearly and interacts with other departments; contributes to team effort; cross-trains as needed; works independently within assigned area with little supervision; manages 5S target organization consistently; performs housekeeping to maintain a clean and safe work environment
Requirements
- High-School Diploma
- 0–2 years of warehouse experience
- Ability to use packaged software on a PC-based computer system (data entry)
- Ability to comprehend on-the-job training and follow safety procedures & regulations
- Ability to adjust to changing working conditions as business demands require
- Ability to work well with others in a team setting to deliver high performance results
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Physical ability to constantly reach outward, walk, sit, bend, squat, and kneel; occasionally twist, turn, climb, crawl, reach above shoulder, handle and finger objects, and type using a keyboard
- Ability to effectively communicate as required by the position
- Ability to work variable and flexible hours, including overtime

Pay
Pay range: $18.64 – $25.72 per hour
Incentive Plan: Annual Bonus Incentive Target %: 1% (payments range from 0% to 200% of target with details laid out within the plan document)
