About This Role

Small Beginnings Childcare Center in Florence, SC is seeking a qualified SC First Steps 4K Teacher to work with Preschool (3–5) in a center-based environment. This position requires the appropriate professional qualifications.

What You'll Do

• Follow Creative Curriculum
• Utilize Smart Teach for documentation
• Take anecdotal notes
• Implement age-appropriate lessons and activities
• Oversee and supervise activities indoors and outdoors
• Maintain a safe and clean environment
• Sanitize and disinfect toys, materials and surfaces within classroom
• Interact with children through instructional methods

Requirements

• Associate's Degree minimum
• Experience in a licensed childcare facility

Nice to Have

• ECD 101 or 15 Hour Health and Safety Certificate
• Pediatric First Aid/CPR
• Experience in a SC First Steps 4K program or experience with preschoolers
