SBI Consolidated Flight Test Support - Analysis

Job Description

You will assist in development of pre-mission flight test design, scenario development, and support flight test execution by:

• Performing pre-mission target and interceptor trajectory generation and optimization
• Performing pre-mission quantitative safety and risk analyses to ensure tests can be conducted safely in accordance with Range Commanders Council safety standards
• Supporting Range Safety Working Group meeting and activities to include tracking action items, data delivery schedules, and analysis schedules
• Affirmative Action Statement: The successful candidate must be able to meet the eligibility requirements for a Secret clearance.

Required Skills

• Education: BA/BS in a field pertinent to the position being filled. Five (5) years relevant experience may be substituted for the BA/BS degree requirement.
• Experience: No direct MDA experience required.
• Clearance: The ability to obtain a SECRET Clearance is required.

Desired Skills

• Experience with Missile Defense Agency (MDA) organization and Missile Defense System (MDS) designs, performance and testing
• Experience with MATLAB, Python, Java, and/or other programming languages
• Basic understanding of Orbital Mechanics and Physics

Highly Desired Skills

• Knowledge of RF Engineering and Communication design and processing
• Knowledge of Range Commander’s Council Standards
