About the role
The Small Business Banker II role is responsible for deepening relationships with existing Small Business customers within a specified territory. This includes initiating contact with new customers, managing their loan portfolios, and generating sales and referrals to various business partners.
Responsibilities
- Initiates contact with all new Small Business customers within 30 days of account opening
- Completes customer assessments and assigns customers to the appropriate TD Relationship Manager (RMLM, SB Specialist, Store Manager)
- Manages larger and more complex territory, actively calling all new and existing Small Business customers
- Generates sales and referrals to all business partners in the bank
- Manages the loan portfolio within Front End Fulfillment process, ensuring origination, structuring, and closing of all non RMLM Small Business loan requests
- Develops Small Business product expertise to properly vet potential product fits for the customer base
- Ensures superior customer service as measured by CWI
- Manages the renewal process for loans in the Front End Fulfillment process
- Maintains and achieves Small Business Banking sales and business development objectives
- Works closely with the Small Business Credit Center and SBB product groups to ensure satisfactory customer response times for new credit applications
- Reviews and analyzes reports, including pipelines, dashboards, etc., to ensure accurate and complete reporting
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
- 7+ Years of related experience
- Four years of calling and lending or credit support related experience at the Small Business level
- Demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed marketing goals
- Prioritizes understanding and analyzing personal and business financial statements

$29.75 - $44.50 USD per hour, commensurate with experience.
