Business Banker II

Function

Absorbs direct responsibility for the development of banking relationships across all business lines for the assigned market and customers, both current and prospective. Promotes products and services to acquire new business and retain existing business.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Interviews customers and prospective customers to gather information on their business needs, abilities, and earnings for all business lines.
• Collects and analyzes financial data to establish appropriate account structures.
• Maintains an aggressive calling program for both new and existing customers.
• Assists other Regional Managers in generating business opportunities.
• Attends and participates in community events to enhance the bank's image.
• Maintains a collaborative relationship with branch managers to foster new business growth.
• Develops and maintains a network of referral professionals such as attorneys, realtors, and other key influencers.
• Calls on new prospects as referred from various sources within the bank, courthouse lists, and prospect lists.
• Engages in a variety of business development activities to identify potential bank prospects.
• Receives and addresses customer inquiries, solving problems as needed.
• Maintains a positive working relationship with bank employees.

Education

Requires a four-year college degree or equivalent, with specialized training in Finance/Accounting.

Experience

Minimum of five years of specialized experience, specifically in credit/lending.

Physical Demands

• Operates keypad device: 40% of the week.
• Operates electronic equipment: 20% of the week.
• Operates office equipment: 10% of the week.
• Travels: 30% of the week.
• Requires manual dexterity for typing and data entry up to 40% of the workday.
• Specific vision requirements include close vision of 18”-20” for computer work.

Salary Range

$55,000.00 - $156,450.00
