Business Banker II

Location: 358 North Shore Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15212

Schedule

Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (additional hours as necessary to meet department objectives)

About the Role

Assumes direct responsibility for developing banking relationships across all business lines for an assigned market, including current and prospective customers. Focuses on new business development and retention through promotion of products and services.

Responsibilities

• Interviews customers and prospective customers to gather information about business needs, abilities, and earnings for all business lines.
• Collects and analyzes financial data to determine proper account structure.
• Maintains an aggressive calling program targeting new and existing customers.
• Assists other Regional Managers in generating business.
• Attends and participates in community affairs to promote the bank’s image.
• Maintains close working relationships with branch managers to develop new business.
• Develops and maintains a network of referral professionals, such as attorneys, realtors, and other centers of influence.
• Calls on new prospects referred from all areas of the bank, courthouse lists, referrals, and prospect lists.
• Conducts business development activities to identify bank prospects.
• Responds to customer questions and resolves problems.
• Maintains strong working relationships with bank employees.
• Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills, working independently and as part of a team.
• Assumes additional responsibilities as required.

Requirements

• Four-year college degree or equivalent, with a major or specialization in Finance/Accounting.
• Minimum of five years of specialized experience in credit/lending.

Physical Demands

• Operates a keypad device: 40% of the week.
• Operates electronic and office equipment: 30% of the week.
• Travels: 30% of the week (local and out-of-state for customer meetings, construction site inspections, and project evaluations).
• Requires manual dexterity for typing and data entry up to 40% of the business day.
• Close vision required for computer work (18”-20”).

Pay

Salary Range: $55,000.00 - $156,450.00
