Sawmill Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Champion a safe work environment and ensure all safety policies and procedures are followed.
• Identify and implement opportunities to boost efficiency and reduce costs.
• Oversee manufacturing processes to maintain high quality standards.
• Motivate and support production and maintenance staff to achieve targets.
• Foster open, respectful communication across the team.

Requirements

• Minimum high school diploma.
• 3+ years of experience in sawmill operations.
• 1–2 years of experience in a supervisory role.
• Proven ability to lead and inspire teams in a dynamic setting.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective teamwork.
• Analytical mindset with a knack for resolving challenges.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook; familiarity with optimization is an asset.
