Sawgrass Ambulatory Surgical Center (Brighton) - Pre-op/Post-op – Registered Nurse Level 2

Responsibilities

• Accountable for provision of competent direct patient care based on established standards.
• Contributes to unit activities and supports enhancement of the care delivery system at the unit level.
• Supports peers in the delivery of patient care services and assumes an expanded role which may include charge nurse, preceptor, and committee member responsibilities.
• Responsible for meeting individual patient needs from pre op to recovery by assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating nursing care.
• Collaborates with other members of the interdisciplinary healthcare team to care for patients across the lifespan.
• Delivers high quality, safe, compassionate care to patients throughout their stay at Sawgrass Surgery Center.

Requirements

• Strong assessment, teamwork and interpersonal skills required.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New York.
• Completion of an accredited nursing program.
• Experience in perioperative nursing preferred.

Skills

• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of perioperative nursing practices and procedures.

Pay

Compensation range: $80,620.00 - $108,846.00
