About the role

Operates routine production machinery in accordance with prints and specifications provided. Carries out routine activities to produce the required quantity of parts within established specifications and tolerances. Maintains logs and records of units produced, reports any errors resulting in rejected or discarded pieces, and performs basic adjustments and maintenance. Ensures a clean, safe, and orderly work area while following all safety regulations. Performs other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Operate routine production machinery according to provided prints and specifications.
• Produce the required quantity of parts within established specifications and tolerances.
• Measure finished parts with precision tools to ensure compliance with function, quality, and cosmetic specifications.
• Maintain logs and records of units produced; report any errors resulting in rejected or discarded pieces.
• Inspect equipment prior to use to ensure proper setup and alignment; perform basic and routine adjustments and maintenance.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area.
• Follow all safety regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma (or equivalent).
• Up to 2 years of relevant experience.
• Willingness to follow directions and work well in a team.
• Ability to interpret and translate job specifications for production machinery.
• Fundamental understanding of or ability to quickly learn production equipment.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $17.55 – $28.03 annually. Typically, a competitive wage for new hires falls between $22.18 and $24.00. Offers may vary based on market data and factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographic location. The position may also be eligible for a short-term incentive.
